Ballet Sale FAQ's

What is the history of these pianos?

Kawai Australia is a major sponsor of The Australian Ballet. Every 18 months we install a new fleet of pianos in ballet rehearsal spaces and offer these ex-Ballet pianos for sale at a significant difference. The pianos were used in rehearsal rooms at The Australian Ballet headquarters in Melbourne. During this time they are meticulously maintained and tuned regularly. The pianos still have their original protective film wrapping on them and are sold with brand new stools.

Are they covered by warranty?

Yes. These pianos are sold with the full 12 year Kawai manufacturer warranty.

How many pianos are available?

Stock is extremely limited. Just four upright and two grand pianos are available in the sale and will be sold on a first come basis.

Are there other special offers?

Yes. During the two day ballet sale we are extending special pricing on selected new Kawai pianos and on in store clearance stock.
